"Cat in the Window" is an English country dance by Fried de Metz Herman, set to a tune written by the eighteenth-century Irish harpist, Turlough O'Carolan called "Young Terence MacDonough." Mara plays this very danceable version through six times, for twice through the dance, on her five-string violin.
