Rural Sports is an English country dance from 1748. Mara Shea (violin) and Julie Gorka (keyboard) play this quirky tune in a very danceable way, enjoying the switch from A major in the first half to A minor in the second half of the tune. The dance appeared in Volume 4 of John Johnson's A Choice Collection of 200 Favourite Country Dances, published in 1748.
